Proceeds from this year’s Golf Tournament will benefit Bread of Life’s St. John’s Academy. The Academy focuses on the most vulnerable, the most impressionable in our community - our children. We strive to provide an atmosphere of love, learning and laughter.

St John’s Academy is an early childhood education center that serves children with special needs from 12 months of age to first grade. Currently we serve 125 children who were born infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS, developmentally delayed and/or pre-exposed to alcohol or drugs. Ninety five percent (95%) of our children are impoverished, socio-economically disadvantaged and/or living in transitional housing or residential shelters.

St. John’s Academy is dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for students with special needs. Using a holistic approach to developing the whole child, our goal is to cultivate the spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical well-being of the child. The Academy creates a culture that promotes healing and restoration for children and their families. Our programs are developmentally appropriate to meet the needs of all children unmindful of race, or socioeconomic status.
